Emil Kalliokoski joins Messua Oy – fourth-generation family member brings fresh digital expertise
In autumn 2024, Emil Kalliokoski joined Messua Oy as a Marketing Coordinator, strengthening the team with a modern take on digital marketing and communication. As a fourth-generation member of the founding family, Emil brings a fresh perspective to the company’s long-standing traditions. His role focuses on marketing, communications, and user-centred digital development.
Emil graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from LAB University of Applied Sciences in 2020. He is currently continuing his studies in digital experience design at the LAB Institute of Design and Fine Arts. Alongside his studies, Emil works part-time at Messua, introducing new ideas, user-centric thinking, and visual communication skills into the company’s marketing efforts.
“I’ve followed Messua closely since I was young and witnessed its growth over the years. It’s exciting to now be part of shaping its future,” Emil says.
Since 1987, Messua Oy has designed and built exhibition stands and spatial solutions both in Finland and internationally. The company’s story, however, goes back even further – to the 1960s, when Emil’s great-grandfather Esko Arvelin founded Kilpimainos Arvelin. This legacy laid the foundation for what became Messua Oy, with family entrepreneurship remaining a core part of the company’s identity – a legacy Emil proudly continues.
Emil’s expertise in digital experience design and marketing opens up new opportunities for Messua to evolve its services with a more user-focused approach and increased visibility in digital channels. With Emil’s contribution, Messua bridges tradition and innovation with a modern, youthful, and professional touch.
Welcome to the team, Emil!
