Messua’s values are rooted in sustainability
Environmental responsibility is important to us and, in the long run, essential for the entire trade show industry. This responsibility can’t be emphasized enough. We’ve also challenged our partners and subcontractors to join us in this effort.
The trade show industry is all about rentals, and most of the structures and furniture we use are modular, durable, and recyclable. Our product development also focuses on recycling and reusing scrap, surplus, and waste materials.
By using modular, adaptable, and recyclable products, we make our clients’ events cost-effective and reduce single-use consumption.
Eco-friendly materials and methods
The materials and methods we use are as environmentally friendly as possible, and our lighting and AV technology are energy-efficient. When materials are finally disposed of, all waste is recycled and repurposed.
For example, the carpet materials we use are 100% recyclable. We also repurpose carpets as packing and protective materials. We focus on the environmental impact of materials but also their durability to ensure a long product lifecycle.
Examples of our recycling efforts:
- Most of our furniture is rented and therefore reusable.
- We use energy-efficient AV equipment and lighting in our booths.
- Materials and solutions either have an official environmental certification or are known for their long lifespan.
- Materials are sourced as locally as possible to minimize transportation.
- Event carpets are repurposed as packing and protective materials.
- All waste generated is recycled according to sorting guidelines at the exhibition hall’s recycling stations.
Looking to the future
Whenever possible, we work with local partners to minimize the transportation of goods and labor. In logistics, we also aim to use shared transportation.
Operating sustainably isn’t a project; it’s a permanent set of values guiding our actions and development.
We strive to be transparent and honest, showing respect to our clients and partners. We’re still finding the right balance between promoting environmental, economic, and social sustainability.
Taking small but steady steps toward the future.
Our sustainability goals
